Farol da Ferraria

Farol da Ferraria: Inaugurado a 9 de novembro de 1901, situa-se no caminho que dá acesso à Ferraria, na freguesia dos Ginetes. Foi o segundo farol a ser construído nos Açores e é considerado um dos mais bonitos do arquipélago, com cerca de 14 metros de altura. Outrora foi alimentado a petróleo, gás e diesel, mas nos dias de hoje funciona a eletricidade.

Ferraria's Lighthouse: Inaugurated on November 9, 1901, it's located in the road that leads to Ferraria, in the civil parish of Ginetes. It was the second lighthouse to be built in the Azores and is considered one of the most beautiful of the archipelago, with about 14 meters high. It used to run on oil, gas and diesel, but nowadays it runs on electricity.
